What are some interesting team-ups that could happen (on both sides) as the apocalypse begins?

| SuperZu | Just as there were angels who wanted the apocalypse to happen, there may be demons who don't like it and don't want to have hell on earth. So, an interesting alliance might be if some demons teamed up with hunters to help bring it to an end. |
| fierce_huntress | All the hunters teaming up. There will be most likely some personality clashes and maybe some interesting side stories, especially when you get so many hunters on one job. Another interesting alleince might be unfortunatly Meg and the Winchesters, I don't want to imagine how that will come about! |

| imayfakeit | Well, we know that Kripke is planning on showing a different side to Lucifer, a more humane side that speaks about Lucifer's deep hurt at being betrayed and cast away by his Father; and considering all the general lore about Lucifer's hate and anger and whatnot, I think an interesting twist in the show would be to have the Brothers actually sympathize with Lucifer, and maybe turn to Castiel and the other angels and question just what the hell is going on, if this supposed ruler of all things cruel and unjust is really just a guy who's been profoundly wounded by someone he thought was forgiving and loving. Basically, to have everyone question the true nature of the universal war that has reached climax, and to have Dean and Sam maybe hold off on slaying Lucifer straight away. (Not necessarily a team-up in the sense of alliance; more like, joining together in the quest for understanding.) |
| Lockit | I wouldn't be surprised if the angels start using the demons to get things done. I'm not sure if you could call it teaming up, but more like a symbiotic relationship. I think the season will be more about either isolating the boys further and/or more civies becoming aware and involved in actual combat. |
| DaBzNeez | It would be interesting to see one of the Four Horsemen team up with the boys. As of yet we have only seen War, and he seemed to be enjoying the Apocalypse. However, in Supernatural things aren't always so black and white. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the Horsemen wanted to save the human race and still had faith that we could be saved. This unnamed Horsemen could end up saving the boys lives, and might know how to kill the other Horsemen. Also, it would be interesting if Kripke makes one of the Horsemen a woman. Hopefully it won't be another Ruby incident all over again. Them Winchester boys can't fall for the same trick twice can they?? |
