Save Supernatural-how to help in addition to the petition

I am going from site to site to send the word out on what I am doing to try to help save Supernatural. There have been other shows in the past that went off the air, but returned due to fans sending in an item related to the show. It worked obviously, otherwise the shows would not have returned. My item to send is salt since it is the most common weapon of choice for the Winchesters. I already have mine ready to go. The cost will vary depending on how much salt you send, the packaging you put it in and how far away you are from the network (based here in Burbank, Ca). I am hoping that enough fans send salt to the show, maybe just maybe, it will stay on the air. I figured it is worth a try. If you are interested in joining my cause, send your salt to:
The CW Televivision Network, C/O: SUPERNATURAL, 4000 Warner Blvd, Bldg #168, Burbank, Ca. 91522, ATTN: Eric Kripke, McG, Robert Singer, and Kim Manners Executive Producers (this is the best way to get their attention according to a friend of mine is sending it to the Execs). FYI: Jerico came back because fans kept sending in peanuts. Thank you in advance for you help and participation!!
SUPERNATURAL FOREVER!!!!

Supernatural is currently one of the highest ratest show on CW. It's also THE biggest broadcast gainer among this year's Fall shows: http://www.thrfeed.com/2008/10/fall-tv-gainers.html

So let's just relax, enjoy the show and get your friends involved!

I know right, Eric Kripke said he was only going to do 5 season's. If he doesn't want to do it anymore, thats his call. I don't want to make the man do something he doesn't want to do.

Yes, Master Kripke said he wouldn't want Supernatural go beyond S5, because that's how he's planned the story, and because he doesn't want our show to 'jump the shark'.

We all want our show to run forever... but we know that can never happen. The best thing that can ever happen to a TV show is when its creators are given the chance to wrap up the story properly and resolve all the storylines while it's still on top.

I agree with Kripke. I'd rather have five great seasons than see the show to go on and on and on, like X-Files, until the mythology starts unravelling, stars start leaving, and by the time it gets cancelled no one cares anymore.

Having said that, I wish he'd planned for a seven-season show...
