I'LL START!!ok this is definately one of my favorite episodes. it wasnt enough for Kripke to cast Paris Hilton to guest star along side Jared just as they had in House of Wax, nope, he has to make the main scene a WAX MUSEUM!! i was cracking up laughing as soon as they walked through the door! i was waiting and waiting for one of them to reference House of Wax (the movie) and FINALLY Dean did and the look on Sams face when Dean said he had never even seen it... it was almost a hurt look! lol like he was sad that Dean/Jensen had never seen Jareds movie! lol im SOOOO happy the boys are back together!! soooo HAPPY!!! i hated the arguing and the constant fighting! its still not the same relationship, but hey, its close! i mean, Dean let Sam drive his car, how much better can it get?? lol cant wait for next episode!! 2 out of 2 found this valuable. "I'LL START!!I totally agree with you! It was great having Paris guest starring along with Jared and Jensen! And i to thought that the house of wax referance and it bieng in a wax museam was great!! I'm also excited that Sam and Dean are back together!!! I can't wait for the next episodes, the preview for them was great! i loved the ending of the prievew, Sam acting like herachio!! Fav. Quotes of this episode: "Is that Ghondi? Dude is squirly!" "He was a fruititarian? Your Idol was a man who wore diapors and was a fruititarian?" "Paris Hilton. she looked really good though! Skinny and fast!" "Alright lets go gank ourselves a Paris Hilton." "Awsome" "I hate to break it to you sister, you cant eat me, I'm not one of your bff's" "Dude, not a word!" "You just got wailed on by Paris Hilton!!" Great episode!! 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Very silly! My favorite thing, of course, is that the boys reached a ceasefire and are ready to work together as a team. GO TEAM WINCHESTER! 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Hey, so apparently Sam knew that Dean had opened the first seal. When Dean mentioned it, it was just glossed over! Guess we stressed for nuthin! =P

So everyone's happy that the boys are back together now, obviously? ;) Was there ever really any doubt? The scene that caught my attention was in the car on the way to the job, when Dean was tellin Sam that they needed training wheels to start workin together as a team. It showed me that Dean isn't all about just goin in, guns blazin, and not thinkin their strategy thru! The other thing that I really enjoyed out of this episode was when Sam basically told Dean that he didn't think the job was done, after the wax museum, and then ended up tellin him that Dean needed to let him grow up, and that the team thing has to be a 2 way street. That took a lot of courage on Sam's part to tell his older brother that! Best line of the episode was from Sam this week & already mentioned... Dean: "Not a word" Sam: "Dude, you just got wailed on by Paris Hilton!" roflmao As always, can't wait for next week! Do you find this valuable? |

"The scene that caught my attention was in the car on the way to the job, when Dean was tellin Sam that they needed training wheels to start workin together as a team. "And I just can't stop thinking... In "Free to be you and me" it is shown that Dean made at least a few hunts on his own, Sam was working at the bar. In "The End" during the final scene Dean says to Sam: "If you're serious and you want back in...you should hang on to this. [Dean gives Sam the 'Ruby knife' back] I'm sure you're rusty". And Sam has his own car (unless it is rented). In "Fallen Idols" Dean has his own laptop... Do you have any clues, exactly HOW LONG our boys were separated? Days? Weeks? MONTHS maybe? Sam would need at least a few weeks to get rusty, but Dean's words could be just a joke... They would need even more time to stop being a good team, but truth to be told, they didn't cooperate well during the 4th season, so maybe Dean took that time into consideration when he said they needed training... So, what do you think? Do you find this valuable? |

Mind you, I have no proof, lol, but here's my theory... If Lucifer Rising "happened" in May 2009, and we picked up in Sympathy for the Devil back then (the boys still in the convent), then they split up right away in Good God Y'all, I'd venture to say they were apart for four months, thus catching us up to real time. The writers seem to kind of bungee back to real time always, so that's my story...and I'm sticking to it. Any other theories? :) Do you find this valuable? |

That took a lot -- Sam always butted heads with John, but he always looked up to Dean (the way Dean looked up to John), so I'd think it was about as hard as Dean standing up to his dad. Goes back to the observations about Sam truly maturing this season...all it took was starting the apocalypse, lol! Do you find this valuable? |

Initial response after watching only once :)A nice feel good episode, in which we see the boys rebuilding their relationship. Some good ol' fashioned honesty from them both. When Sam walked in on Dean talking on the phone to Bobby, I thought "uh oh, it's not going to be as simple as we think." I am going to say, while I have watched 'The Simple Life', Paris Hilton has never grabbed me. I just don't get the hype. However, they made an interesting point with celelbrities and idolotry. When Paris brought up the subject of Dean's idol, it hit home again to me, that while he is the 'smart ass', and the tough guy, he has that softer side to him too. I have to admit though, I am becoming more and more of a Sam girl as the weeks go on. He's no longer little Sammy. I get the impression from FTBYAM, that the boys were separated for a few months. I laughed when i saw Dean with a laptop. I think before, we had 2 distinct personalities. Sam, the soft, geeky younger brother and Dean, the tough leader. This episode showed an evening of the playing field to me in that sense. Dean is researching on a computer, Sam had no hesitation in chopping Paris' head off. AND THE PEEK AT WHAT'S TO COME !!!!!! It's looking to be both intense, light hearted and entertaining. Do you find this valuable? |

It was funny! I was surprised that Paris did a fine job with it. And I loved how Dean and Sam were able to really focus on what they need to change to be better bros and hunters. Not to mention we got Dean gaga over a car, Sam researching things and being gaga over Ghandi, Paris actually making sense as a god who thinks humans have sunk low to be ... Read Morefocusing on celebrities...and then the tension of what Dean said to Bobby and how Sam reacted, because you know Dean wasn't talking about Sam but you don' t know what it all was for sure. My theory is that Dean meantioned the apocalypse and Bobby said something about wishing he could do more and Dean saying "we know who's fault that is"...and Sam only hearing apocalypse and fault got a bit of a fit.

Although I liked the episode, it was just another filler episode. It had no significance to the plot, besides the point that it is the first mission with Sam and Dean together after the apocalypse. I really hate episodes like this because they don't even give a hint, or foreshadow anything. If the show wasn't as interesting as it is, I would have concluded that I wasted an hour of my life.

After all the "end of the world" drama, this was (as Goldilocks would say) just right! I also loved that it showed how the boys are having issues but , bottom line, are deciding it's worth sticking together. *whew* Do you find this valuable? |

Through out the whole episode I felt like this was similar to the episode when they never met and they happen to work at the same company and then all those people start killing themselves when they have a poor performance at work. At the end, they re-unite and i believe some angel tells them that they were destinied to be hunters.

I liked the episode, though I hate Paris. Why, of ALL the celebrities in the WORLD, did they pick HER!? And, even though it wasn't real, I was happy to see her die at the end. I really wish they would have shown more of James Dean. I was confused on why Sam said that the reflection in that video looked like James, it was the back of his head.
